Belmonte<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Belmonte de San Jos\u00e9 is a non-existent village in the non-existent Teruel.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A village of 100 inhabitants hidden in a Mediterranean valley, between Matarra\u00f1a and Bajo Arag\u00f3n. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When you enter Belmonte you will see old houses with lots of flowers on the doors and windows, a large bar, a small shop, the writers' refuge, a beautiful church that plays the organ and sings the hours, and lots of paths and tracks to wander through in solitude under the blue Mediterranean. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes: Mediterranean and solitude. Two magical concepts that only in these lands can naturally go hand in hand. Only in the summer months are there more people than usual, as holidaymakers arrive, attracted by the oxygen, the peace and quiet and the municipal swimming pool, located in the middle of the countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n

We also have a hermitage: The hermitage of San Jos\u00e9 (who was a saint, really). <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A wonderful place to walk up its gentle path or its not so gentle slope, a little steeper but very healthy; if you climb it you will get strong and great legs. The route starts at El Cam\u00ed de la sort, Camino de la suerte in Spanish, a route that we are lucky enough to have just a 10-minute walk from the Filou planet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have many routes around here: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2e3b that of the Valley of the Moon.
\u2e3b And the path to La Cerollera.
\u2e3b And the Cam\u00ed del barranc fondo that takes you to the paradise of large, precious stones, along the way you will pass under some of them, but don't worry, they won't crush you.
\u2e3b And what a beautiful view from the lookout point; we actually have two lookout points, one in the village and one above, and from both you can see the stars shining (make sure it's at night) with the intensity that comes from the absence of light pollution. Belmonte and pollution are opposites, as the air here tastes like heaven.<\/strong> (corny but true). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ask anyone and they will tell you: in Belmonte you also come to breathe. That's right; here you breathe. Here you breathe in all senses.<\/h2>\n\n\n
